Sharp to debut next generation AQUOS BOARDâ„¢ interactive display systems and highlight collaborative capabilities that help streamline solutions for any environment

MAHWAH, NJ, June 17, 2014 – Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation, will debut its next generation AQUOS BOARDâ„¢ interactive displays at InfoComm 2014, the largest professional AV show in the world. At Infocomm 2014, Sharp will also showcase future, value-added commercial displays available in a wide-range of sizes and capabilities. The booth will focus on collaboration in everyday settings and highlight how Sharp's interactive technology empowers attendees to Collaborate Your Way.

"Our theme, Collaborate Your Way, demonstrates the extensive capabilities of our professional displays and how users will interact with them on a day-to-day basis," said Mike Marusic, Senior VP, Marketing and Operations. "Our booth will show attendees how far interactive communications and collaboration have evolved by allowing users to share and move content between devices. Communication has never been easier and these ubiquitous platforms allow for true collaboration across businesses."

The Best Just Got Better

The four new AQUOS BOARD interactive displays are designed for smooth and effortless communication in a wide range of environments. Available in two 70" class (69.5" diagonal) and two 60" class (60.06" diagonal), the next generation of the #1 Selling, Large-Format Commercial Display in the United States makes its public debut at InfoComm 2014. It comes equipped with new features, including: 10-point multi-touch functionality, up-to-4 simultaneous users, faster touch response rates, a highly responsive touch pen, the ability to communicate between mobile devices, and an anti-glare film that minimizes glare and fingerprints.

Convey Your Message With Visual Panache

At Infocomm 2014, Sharp will preview a new value series of commercial display units in 32" (31.5" diagonal), 42" (diagonal), 47" (diagonal), and 55" (54.7" diagonal) models. Whether it's a public space or a commercial location, the sleek PN-Y325/Y425/Y475/Y555 LED monitors display content beautifully in both landscape and portrait installations.

Award-Winning Technology

Attendees will be able to experience Sharp's award-winning class of Ultra HD 4K monitors equipped with IGZO technology, in both touch and non-touch models. The 31.5" diagonal anti-glare backlit monitor displays over eight million pixels; four times as many as conventional 1080p. It provides unprecedented picture clarity, making it ideal for tasks where detailed precision is mandatory.

The Sharp booth will also demonstrate Cloud Portal Office Meeting Room, a first-of-its-kind software solution designed for an increasingly mobile workforce where companies need to share information while maintaining control and security over critical documents.

Collaborate Your Way

Sharp's innovative hardware will be used in collaboration with various hardware and software partners also on display throughout InfoComm. Whether you're in a meeting room, conference center, training facility, or any other business setting, Sharp's interactive technology changes the way you communicate and collaborate across platforms.
