To keep pace with customer demand for its rapidly growing array of products, AmpliVox Sound Systems will move its operations to a new, larger space by the end of May. The new headquarters, located at 650 Anthony Trail in Northbrook, Illinois, expands the company’s manufacturing and office space by more than 60 percent.
The move reflects the recent dramatic growth experienced by the 50-year-old company. A manufacturer and marketer of high-quality presentation lecterns, sound systems, emergency management equipment and other audio products, AmpliVox has introduced groundbreaking new products in all its categories over the last year. The company recently unveiled its “12 for 2012” collection of new offerings, including versatile line array speakers, powerful emergency-response radio hailers, innovative lecterns with integrated front-panel video screens, and other industry-leading new product options. AmpliVox also launched an improved website this year to enhance interactivity and ease of use for its customers.
The new building is approximately 1.5 miles from AmpliVox’s former facility. All contact information, including phone and fax numbers, will remain the same.
“Our industry is enjoying a surge of technological innovation, especially in the areas of multi-media presentations and emergency management,” commented AmpliVox CEO Don Roth. “Our expanded facility will enable us to get these exciting new products to our distributors and the public quickly, and to continue to provide the top-notch service our customers deserve.”
