AmpliVox Sound Systems has introduced a new rechargeable battery that is compatible with its 150-watt Compact Amplifier, making it capable of powering built-in wireless PA systems built into many AmpliVox lecterns, including such popular models as the Multimedia Computer Lectern, Coventry Lectern, Pinnacle Multimedia Lectern, Executive Column Lectern, and others.

"The battery is another step in convenience for our customers," said AmpliVox CEO Don Roth. "In addition to offering built-in wireless PA systems, most of our lecterns are very mobile. "The battery allows them now to be used even where there is no convenient access to AC power, including outdoors."

The S1468 Rechargeable Battery Pack features a 24V, 5.5 Amp Hour SLA battery with an 8 hour run time. It includes a 6-foot cable with DC barrel connector to connect to the PA amplifier, AC recharging cord, and mounting hardware. See www.ampli.com for more details.
